All businesses and employers have a duty and responsibility under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 to appoint and train a sufficient number of competent persons within the workplace to handle all aspects of fire safety.
Apart from being a legal requirement, fire safety training should provide fundamental and essential knowledge to designated fire wardens and employees on what procedures to follow in the event of an emergency or fire situation.

This course is designed to provide delegates with a greater understanding of:

- the chemistry and mechanisms of fire
- how to identify the different types of fire
- the actions to be taken upon discovering a fire
- how to recognise the correct fire extinguishers
- the correct use of different types of fire extinguishers
fire warden training
This course is designed to provide delegates with a greater understanding of:
- the responsibilities of a fire warden
- human behaviour in a fire situation
- the chemistry and mechanisms of fire
- fire precautionary measures installed within a building
- how a fire risk assessment is carried out
- legislation relating to fire safety within buildings
- the actions to be taken upon discovering a fire
- how to recognise the correct fire extinguishers
- the correct use of different types of fire extinguishers
- how to tackle small fires
